THE CHICK YOU SEE WALKING ON THE BEACH, TALKING TO THE SKY AND SCOUTING FOR ROCKS...YEAH, THAT'S ME!
Who I Am:
I'm Dawn and just a girl who likes to contemplate life by digging and exploring a bit beneath the surface, while working out my faith, to my own awe and wonder AND the shock and frustration of many. I try to share it all (imperfectly) here, with authenticity, grace and truth.

Enchanted with New England; a true East Coast girl.
Proud to be an American and a Child of God.

Why I Blog:
I started blogging in 2011 because of my passion and love for writing, sharing and truth. I have always been a Writer, on the inside. However, while pursuing a career in the fitness industry, I allowed that aspect of my life to remain hidden; private. Although participating in many Writers Groups and opportunities in the 90's, I immersed myself in the pursuit of other goals educationally and competitively. I wrote extensively in my journals during this time. In May of 2011 I seriously injured my hip and found myself unsure of the immediate future. It was during this time that I decided to come out of the closet and share as I felt led for better or worse. Ultimately, my desire is to glorify God. I trust that by His grace through faith, this is possible- apart from it- not. I have been writing in many forms since childhood. My pen, His heart. True connection.
